Projects, files & frames

A project is one portal. It groups Figma files, mappings, generations, and packages.

Create a project

  1. From the workspace home, click New project.
  2. Name it after the portal you're shipping. The slug is auto-generated.
  3. (Optional) Pick a starting fidelity template — Standard, Strict, or Lossless.

Add Figma files

Each project can hold one or more Figma files. Mappings stay scoped to a project but can be saved to the workspace template library for reuse.

Browse frames

  • Frames are listed in the left rail, grouped by Figma page.
  • Filters: components only, frames with bindings, frames with failed generations.
  • Click a frame to open the mapping canvas.

Components panel

The components panel surfaces every Figma component in the file. You can mark components as reusable web templates — the generator emits one shared Liquid include rather than duplicating output for every instance.

Project settings

  • Rename, archive, or delete.
  • Set the deployment target environment URL (used by the Azure DevOps pipeline reference).
  • Move between workspaces is intentionally not supported — workspaces are the isolation boundary.
